The Perfect Find - Tia Williams

The Perfect Find - Tia Williams

ABOUT THE BOOK

A forty-year-old woman risks her new career for a secret romance with the one person who could destroy her comeback in this "deliciously good time" of a novel (Nicola Kraus, author of The Nanny Diaries). Now a Netflix film starring Gabrielle Union.

Jenna Jones, former It-girl fashion editor, is forty, broke and desperate for a second chance. When she’s dumped by her longtime fiancé and fired from
Darling magazine, she begs for a job from her arch nemesis, the beyond-bitchy Darcy Vale, who agrees to hire her–but Jenna soon realizes she’s in over her head. What’s worse is that the twenty-two-year-old videographer assigned to shoot her web series is driving her crazy. Eric Combs is way off-limits–but almost too delicious to resist.

Does Jenna have room for a new career, a new life,
and a new man? Or will her not-so-secret infatuation bring everything crashing down around her?

REVIEW

Tia Williams's writing style is both eloquent and accessible, allowing readers to easily connect with the characters and storyline. This story of a older woman, younger man was one that peaks my interest. It started great in the beginning but somehow lost its edge in the middle. I was able to get through it and enjoy the story, but I have to admit that it wasn't my favourite. I have to say that I did not really like the ending, even though I know that not all endings are suppose to be happily ever after.  The fact that she didn't tell him about the child was one that didn't sit well with me. I however would recommend this book as I do love the way that Tia Williams  put pen to paper.
